1 Is Too Many and the Resurrecting Lives Foundation have forged a partnership to assist veterans with PTSD, TBI, addiction and suicide ideation.
Dr. Chrisanne Gordon and 2nd Vice Jeff Brown announced the partnership at American Veterans Department of Ohio's 75th Annual Convention.
Dr. Gordon started the organization when she realized there were not a whole lot of resources available to veterans with TBI and other issues.
Suffering from a TBI herself, Dr. Gordon has brought awareness for these issues through a documentary film, Operation Resurrection, which defines and promotes coordinated health, employment and educational interventions for veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The film highlights the lives of several OIF/OEF veterans after they came back home from war.
Together both organizations will be able to help more of Ohio's veterans who are struggling and will be able to bring awareness of issues facing veterans when they leave the service.
